DH and I decided on the Babi Italia Pinehurst cribs in Espresso last night at BRU. We got a great deal - 20% off for their nursery furniture sale, plus 10% for their multiples discount. We decided to go ahead and also order the matching dresser. However, last night I got home and read a bunch of reviews of the dresser on the BRU website, and many people complained about the dresser drawers falling out constantly. Do any of you have this dresser and have the same issue? I'm thinking of cancelling the dresser order due to all the bad reviews.

Re: Anyone have the Babi Italia Pinehurst furniture?
this. same with me..but haven't had the chance to really use it yet.
We only have the crib- this one. Ours does have the drop side but honestly, it's so hard to move that we never use it. This has been a great crib though- we love it! Getting ready to transition DS #1 out so that we can use it for #2. Can't help you with the dressers- we just used the Hemnes dresser from IKEA and have no complaints about that either :-)
We didnt get the dresser, but we got the same crib as above in espresso. All I can say is that the darn thing gets stuck alot that we gave up and left it alone. I " think" not sure have to c heck the number on the crib that there was a recall on it due to the hinge? Maybe thats why we have had a problem with it from the begginning. WE have baby #2 coming so we need to get it fixed.
Well crap. I know I checked the recall list on it once but that was a long time ago... guess I better find the model number and check it again before we use it for #2. Especially with all these recalls now. But I can say with ALL certainty that this one is not one of the ones where the side could come loose... hell, DH can't get the thing to move even putting all his weight on it!
same here all around! expcet while a little stiff, we had a fairly easy time getting it up and down for DD. Its gotten stiffer lately for sure, though. The recall was just for a part to make the drop side stationary. Nothing exciting. We passed because the crib has been nothing but stellar and it really takes effort to get the side down. I love the hidden hardware, the metal/quality materials and just how well the crib has held up all around. Completely wonderful. We didn't buy any other pieces but I at least know you'll be very happy with the crib!
