Cradle Cap?

I'm pretty sure that's what it is? When DD gets out of the tub, or on the couple occasions that she was sweaty, her head gets kind of white colored. I can sort of rub the skin off with a washrag, but she gets super pissed. Any tips? Is it bad to just leave it alone, or am I supposed to do something about it?

    Use either a little baby oil or a little olive oil put a bit on her head, leave it in to soak for a few minutes and then gently brush out (I suppose the washrag might work too), then shampoo her head. Hope that helps!

    I used this stuff called Cradle Cap Cure that I got at Wal Mart in the baby section. It worked great! Of course, I used a lot since she has a ton of hair and it made her hair super greasy. I have heard of the olive oil remedy too.

    DS had a little of cradle cap this week and i have just been washing his hair every other day with j&j baby shampoo and brushing with a soft bristle brush and it went away on its own.

    We use a soft brush since DS has a ton of hair, and a little baby oil once in a while. It really helps.

    i rub a little baby oil and then brush through ds hair. it works well and he loves it!
