Waking up poopy?

So, as I posted yesterday, DD has been STTN.  Last night she slept from 7:30 to 6:40.  But now she wakes up in major poop and I have no way of knowing how long she's been sitting in it.  She tends to poop again within half an hour of me getting her out of the crib, so I think the poop in the diaper has been there awhile.  Ugh, what happened to my baby who never pooped at night?  Anyone else have this issue?  Do you wake them to change at night?  I don't want to wake her when we've had so much trouble getting her to sleep well, but I also don't want her sitting in poop for hours.

    I never woke DD up at night to change her. Not planning w/ DS either. If it makes you feel any better, my pedi actually gave me a tip about preventing diaper rash in these exact circumstance (in other words, encouraging not waking baby up for a change)- put vaseline on baby before putting him/her down. I know it's gross for baby to wake up poopy, but if your LO isn't waking up it isn't bothering her.

    DD has pooped in the middle of the night a few times.  If I hear her, I change her. 

    If you don't mind me asking, how did you get her to sleep better?  Do you think the goats milk helps?  My DD isn't a great sleeper and I need  that to change before #2.

    DS is poopy like 5 out of 7 mornings.  It rarely wakes him up, and if it doesn't, I don't wake him either.  I guess I just figure it would bother him more if I woke him up to change his diaper than if I just left him for the morning.

    This has been a new trend for DD the last couple of weeks. Every night.  But she's still waking in the middle of the nigh at least once, last night it was 3 times, so in those cases, I change her. I never hear her poop, if I did, I'd change her.  But when I go in to feed her or comfort her, I change her.

    My LO just started to get poopy at night. I'm not planning on waking him up though. It just started as he started solids, so his body may just be adjusting. I hope he will get in the routine of going after his first feeding again.
