where are you finding your maternity pants? I am very pear shaped basically my a$$ is huge.. as well as my hips and thighs... My sister just sent me all her clothes and none of the pants fit...
I am doing the rubber band trick right now with my regular jeans... but wonder where everyone is shopping it seems like stuff is so limited
Re: Plus Size Mommies?
I am bigger around the torso. For now, I have been doing Motherhood maternity online, all returns are free. I am also really lucky to have an Old Navy literally 1/4 mile from me with a maternity dept.
So Old Navy and Motherhood are your best bets.
I LOVE these jeans. And double bonus... they also come in long so plus sized tall women have comfy jeans too
I wish they made their jeans for regular women too (but with the same jean material) because they fit so well.
There really doesn't seem to be much variety out there! I've been checking craigslist and ebay, but ditto Motherhood and Old Navy too.
Also, I found this tutorial online, and am thinking about talking my mom into helping me out with some DIY maternity pants.
I'm short-waisted as it is, so I'm hoping that with the trend toward longer shirts these days, that I should have little trouble with tops. Only time will tell!
I am a size 22/24 so I was terrified when my pants stopped fitting and we went looking for maternity clothes. I thought for sure I would be SOL.
Target doesn't carry anything larger than a 14/16, Sears only an XL and it's an small XL. I got discouraged.
But then we found Motherhood Maternity and really lucked out. They had lots on clearance and I got two matching sets (tops and pants) and two dressy shirts for under $100.
They didn't have a huge selection but enough. Their jeans are NICE.

I bought some things at Motherhood, and my local Sears had plus size also. The prices were better at Sears. JCPenney online has some really cute stuff too!
