Traveling with frozen BM

Hi - DH and I are planning on visiting family this weekend and are going to be driving about 3 hours.  I wanted to take the frozen BM with me and wanted to know the best way to take it so that it's still frozen when we get there so I can put it back in the freezer (will this even work and be ok?).  Please tell me what you use.  Also, once I thaw frozen BM, how long is it good for? TIA!

    It should stay frozen for the most part if you pack it in a cooler with lots of ice packs. . . if part of it is still frozen, you can put it back in the freezer.

    Once it's completely thawed, you must use it within 24 hours.
