Tonya&Cody- tell me about your double stroller!

It seems like you did a lot of research.  Which did you choose and can you give me the Cliff Notes version on why you chose it? Just curious... not sure if we'll ever need one... but I'd like to have one in mind if we do :)

    I chose the Baby Jogger City Select. It is brand new and there is very HIGH demand for it. Most girls are waiting about 6 weeks for theirs but I was able to find it all in stock thru 2 different websites.

    1. It can be used as a single or a double stroller

    2. The 2nd seat is actually another full size seat (the 2nd seat for my old uppababy vista is a mini seat)

    3. Both seats can sit in any configuration you want (there are 16 diff combos). You can have 2 carseats, 2 bassinets, 2 seats all facing however you want.

    4. It has a super easy fold 

    5. You can even fold with both seats on if in forward facing

    6. It has the break by the handle bar vs a foot break which can be hard in flip flops (which i am always wearing) 

    7. It works with my current carseat

    Hope this helps! I am loving SA so far! We are staying so busy! We've gone to the zoo twice. I want to go to Seaworld soon and the children's museum still. We are making a lot of progress on our house....irrigation/grass/trees in backyard, fence is next. Bought dining room furniture, bought big girl furniture for DD#1 , ordered crib bedding for #2, in the middle of painting DD#1's new room so I can move her over and start on #2's room :)

    Busy busy!

    I also start grad school June 21!

    Your stroller sounds like a dream. I don't need a double but I'm drooling just reading it. You sound like you are settling in just wonderfully.

    That is a super cool stroller.  I can't wait to hear how you like it once you get it out and about! Thanks for sharing :)

    We got an annual pass for Sea World... we just went on Mon. and did all the shows.  Now I want to go back with Elise and go to the waterpark and toddler splash pad. If you ever want to gtg there this summer, lmk!

     Yes ma'am. I can just see me trying to get my 17 year-old to climb into a double stroller! *smirk* Actually I had a dream about that the other night. It was insanely funny and I woke up giggling. :)

    *smirk* OH! Gotta love pregnancy brain. I'll have to talk to the hubby. I think we may have one but I don't know yet. If not then we may have to talk to you about it. :)

    They have a floor model at Sugarplum Dreams. We checked it out Friday.. I'm thinking it might be a good addition to the double BOB when Olivia is out of her carseat and old enough to sit up. I like that they both face out!
