3rd Trimester

I have a question re my little man's movement...

My little man doesn't seem to be moving as much today...well..he's moving his normal amount I think, but it seems like his movements are muffled? That's the only word I can think to describe it. They aren't big, strong movements like they normally are.

Have any of you noticed this with your LO's?

I'm also having some pain at the top of my uterus, maybe he is just in a different position than normal?

WDYT?

  • I've had that.  Some days LO was moving, but not as "playful" as other days.  As long as you are feeling movement, things should be fine.

  •  I wouldn't worry to much, the bigger you/he gets the less space he has in there.  So the less room he has to kick.  So you won't feel as much movement because he's not spinning in circles or stretching out!

Thanks! I guess I was just looking or a response like yours to ease my mind! He'll probably be moving full force by this evening, anyways lol

  • Movement will start to change/slow down after 32ish weeks. He's running out of room in there!
  • That happened to me yesterday. He was very active the few days before that, but i barely noticed him moving yesterday.  I had to drink somthing and gently push him around just to get him moving. which still wasn't much. today he's moving around lots.
  • I had that just yesterday minus the paid at the top of uterus (mine is below my abs). I had one strong kick all day. The rest were barely there rolls I guess you could say. But by the end of the day and by the end I mean at night, he was moving around more. And seems fine today.

  • I had that last week, except I felt NO mvement for HOURS and went to the Doc and did a non-stress test. He was perfectly fine.

Doc said he is running out of room to kick so hard, or he just had a lazy day. He's kicking up a storm agian, and hurting my ribs. :)

  • my LO's movement changed a few weeks ago from full on kicks to more rolling around and squirming. kind of freaked me out, but now i'm used to it. They have less space in there to get the momentum for a kick or punch!
