We have a Graco Lauren Drop down

I guess they have been recalled? What do we do now? Will they give us our money back, replace it with a new one, or are we SOL? Should I contact BRU or Graco?

I'm so aggravated with recalls... mylecon, tylenol, the crib and there is one other thing that I can't think of right now. Argh! So annoying.

That stinks! I would look at Graco's website and then go from there. Sometimes the website has who to contact.

We didn't buy a drop down because my niece would always hold onto hers and jump and it would drop down! It freaked me out! I was too nervous about it but then again, there can be problems with everything! At least they recall it and don't just not say anything.

i thought i read that as long as you bolt it so it can't drop down anymore, it was okay - but i'm not positive, so definitely read up! i would start with their website too.

but really, i just wanted to say that i LOVE your new siggy pic! Ryan is absolutely adorable Big Smile

Julie we have this same crib. Never had a problem with any of the drop sides we've ever had but you never know right. We contacted Graco immediately when the recall happened and they sent us a"repair kit". Pretty much what the PP said... a couple of nails so the side becomes fixed instead of drop side. I don't really feel any differently about the crib but we've never let our kids really play in their cribs. Once they're awake they come out of the crib. I do probably go into Matty's room more than I normally would now that I know this though. Like I really needed another reason to get up at 3am. I am just starting to get over the 'OMG is he still breathing' run in at 1am! lol
