I have a stye eye :(
Boo! I haven't had one of these in YEARS and one started to develop in my upper right eyelid on Tuesday morning. By Tuesday night, it was a full-blown stye. It looked really nasty. I've been self-treating it with a warm compress several times a day and it started to get better yesterday morning, though it still hurts every time I blink or shift my eyeballs around.
Then, this morning, I noticed another one developing in my lower right eyelid. Now I have pain in both my upper and lower eyelids when blink. 
What's going on here? I don't wear make-up, nor do I wear contact lenses. Do you think it could be due to hormonal changes or lowered immunity due to the pregnancy?

You might want to get it checked up just to make sure it isn't something more serious. Chances are that it isn't, but I've gotten these a couple of times in my life and last time, I was told to go see an ophthalmologist just to be safe, so I did and it was just a sty.
The ophthalmologist recommended that I gently wash my eyelids with something mild (like tear-free baby shampoo--but I just use my face wash) at least once every day. He said that some people are just more susceptible to them than others and the only thing we can do to prevent them is to keep it clean. I don't wear make-up either and I actually didn't get any while pg, so I don't think it's related to pg, but that's just what my experience was...
