well, I only have one other to compare it to.
Last time (Halloween '07), I felt pressure and light cramping during the procedure. Plus they had the monitor turned where I couldn't see anything. It was a very cold clinical experience.
This time I had the best doc in the world. He was the sweetest old asian man. The nurse warned me he likes to come in and draw pictures to explain the procedure. I assured them both that I was a pro at this already, but he busted out the notepad and drew it all out for me anyway. And he kept the screen turned where I could watch. I felt absolutely NOTHING this time. At.All. Which really surprised me.
So I went to the pharmacy after to pick up my progesterone supps. The guy asked me "Are you aware of the cost on these?" ($31). I told him last time it was only $20 copay. So he double checked my prescription coverage. Apparently my plan has changed a bit and these are now full price for me. No biggie - it like a 3 cycle supply and I can handle the extra $11. That's only like $3.50 per cycle.
But then I asked him to look up my cost for Repronex for when we start treatment again. If the cost for that changes, it could really throw a wrench in our TTC#2 plans. Last round it was always $20 copay per cycle for me - but full cost was between $1,350 - $1,500 per cycle. I don't think we'd be doing that if it goes to full cost. So pharmacy boy checks and assures me it's only $10 copay now. So, that is actually better than before. Thank god!
