16 weeks and vaginal soreness?

I'm hoping I'm just being paranoid, but I have been feeling some soreness in my groin (like a pulled muscle) and then today its more just sore down there? My mom (not a medical professional) has diagnosed it as round ligament pain, but I didn't think the ligaments were between my legs too. Any ideas?

    I have been having this the last few days too! I was at the NT scan today and asked the Dr what it was and he said you have muscles in your pelvis and hips that have to expand and that is probably what it was. He of course was way more technical than that, but that's the street version of what he said.
    6/28/10: Lost our sweet baby Addyston at 18wk 1day to pPROM 7/24/11: Michael William born at 24wk 2d due to IC after an emergent cerclage at 18wks, 4wk home BR and 2 weeks hospital BR. Grow strong our little Miracle! 9/17/11: Michael joined his sister in heaven after 8 amazing weeks with us on earth. He fought a very hard fight but NEC was too much for him in the end.     Thank you!  That's more or less what Dr. Google said, but then I also read it can be an early sign of preterm labor.  That got me worked up so I am glad you got some professional advice.
