Yesterday was a hell of a day

My aunt died, which wouldn't be unbearable except that our family just started getting over my grandparents passing 2 weeks apart.
I came home yesterday to find our backyard under a foot of water from a broken pipe that had been burst for 24 hours. I assumed the water draining all over the street was due to the water co. having a busted pipe. Nope. It was us. Can't wait to see the water bill.
After we dealt with that, DH and I decided to go for a walk only to end up getting chased by some dog. DH ended up spraining his ankle. The women who owned the dog came out to get him and didn't even apologize or ask if DH was okay. She just said "Oh, I didn't realize the dog got out." Thanks B!tch.
I'm thinking I should stay on the couch today and only get up if I have to pee.

Very sorry to hear about your gp's and aunt's passing.
And it sounds like yesterday really sucked for you. Sorry to hear that. I guess sometimes it all just comes at once, rather than bit by bit. But hopefully that means you'll have a day (hopefully very soon) that will be ALLLLL good-ness! Sending lots of good vibes your way, as well as t&p's to you and your family!
