AR--babies on prevacid question

So DS was on zantac and the pedi just switched him to the prevacid solutabs (tomorrow will be our first day on them) my question is about how you give them to your LO--I read the directions but I am still kinda confused, do you have a dropper that you put the tablet in then fill w/ 4ml water or do you just put the tablet in something else and drop 4ml's on it then resuck it back up in the dropper? Did the pharmacy give you a dropper? Any tips of what works best for you would be appreciated! TIA!

    I put the Solutab in his mouth and let it dissolve.  I tried the dropper and too much was left in it and I had a hard time getting it out...

    When LO was on the solu-tabs I just dissolved it in water on a small spoon and did it that way. The dropper idea is a big fat fail for solu-tabs!

    The dropper worked fine for DS.  I would put the tab in the dropper, suck up some expressed BM, let it dissolve and then give it to DS.

    We got a dropper but he never got all the meds. I put half a tab on a baby spoon put a couple drops of water on it to melt it and then feed it to him. He keeps all of it in his mouth this way too instead of spitting most of it out.

    I actually have some real syringes.  I take the plunger out and drop my 1/2 solutab in and replace the plunger.  Then I suck up 2ml of water or EBM.  You don't need a full 4ml.  The dropper was a big FAIL for us.  I could never get it all sucked up inside after I dissolved it.

    My pedi just prescribed my DD Prevacid yesterday and I have it in liquid form???  I don't have to dissolve anything....she gets 4ml 2x a day and it is kept in the fridge.  Is this something new or...?
