CDs and public toilets

When you have a poopy diaper do you swish these in the toilet or just put in in your wet bag?? I know wet (pee) diapers are ok, but wasn't sure how big a mess it would be to do this with a dirty one. Some public toilets are so nasty, I wasn't sure what to do with them.

i don't swish at all. i just plop the poo or scrape it with some tp.

We don't swish in public or at home.

When we're out, we plop or use TP to get off whatever we can, then stick in the wetbag & deal with it when we get home.

At home we scrape.

we're still EBF so I just put it in the wetbag. I think we will probably do the same when he starts solids unless it's a situation where the changing table is in the handicap stall (we have a few like that around here) and it's feasible to utilize the (clean-looking!) toilet.

I usually wrap it around it's self and put in the wet bag to deal wiht at home. Most of his are plopable now but he gets some that are horribly sticky that
I can't even scrap they take many swishes or they make the whole load of launry smelly.

No dunking here either. We use flushable liners though I usually don't even bother with flushing them when we're out and about. I just stick everything in the wet bag and take care of it when we're home.

Ditto pp - never dunk. If the changing table is in the stall, or if someone else is watching DS, I'll sometimes plop, but if not, it just all comes home with me.

I wrap it all up and take it with me. Yesterday was pretty fun... There wasn't a changing table in the bathroom but he had super stinky poop... luckily there were big arm chairs in the bathroom, so I lay him in one of those to change. I got a couple dirty looks, but I don't really care. And then I managed a one hand at a time hand wash while holding him.... Talent, ladies- pure talent. :-)

All that said- we don't swish... that prospect totally grosses me out

Thanks, some of DDs diapers are still soft and sticky, so I wasn't sure how to handle them when out in public.
