"you look so young!"

I am SO tired of hearing this. I know it's a good thing but I always get it when I'm with DD so I hear: "You are too young to have a child"-just me being overly sensitive. I'm 27 and will be 28 in Dec. Do you think I'm "too young" to have a 17 month old??? Does anyone else get this??

    I got carded for an R rated movie last year. I'm almost 29.

    I would just say thank you. I get carded all the time still and I am 32 and most of the time when the person doing the carding looks at my birth date they are like "wow" since I am much older than I look.

    I get this a lot too.  I'm 25 - so definitely on the younger side - but every time I get this it is easy to be slightly insecure about it.  Just two days ago I got, "You have a CHILD.  You look like such a baby!"  Um, thanks?  I'm choosing to take it as a compliment... :)

    At least they're not saying you look too old.

    People say I look too young all.the.time. I am young. I'm 22 with an 18 month old. DH and I knew we were ready for kids and I don't really care what other people think. =)

    I look really young.  I get early 20's and late teens (from the complete morons out there!), and I'll be 30 in December.  I get the stink eye when I'm out with DD and my mini baby bump.  No one has ever made comments to me though.  My mom is convinced that me looking young is why I never got strangers touching my belly when pregnant with DD and very seldom got congratulatory comments.

    I'm 23 (24 in August)... young, but married and mature... and I get a lot (from people who do not know me - essentially strangers), "Your little sister is so cute."  Or comments about how nice it is that I am watching my little sister.

    It annoys me.  Hello wedding ring! and a DD that calls me "Mama!"

    Just hate it that people judge.

    I just turned 25. However, on a weekly basis I always get "what grade are you going into?" And I've also been TOLD that I'm "way too young to have a baby".

    No...  but, please don't let it get to your head when you get older.  My coworker totally does.  "I know I don't LOOK 45, but...."  Uggg, it makes me wish she looked 60.
