DH & I finally went crib and stroller shopping for the first time today. DH really liked the BOB Revolution. We live in the city and are always out and about so we think this will be a good fit for us. It is so lightweight and very easy to maneuver!
1. WHat kind of BOB stroller do you have?
2. Where did you buy it?
3. What do you love/not love about it?
4. Did you get another stroller (or Snap N Go) for everyday use or only have the BOB?
5. Did you get the infant carseat adapter? If so, what kind of carseat do you have?
My only concern is that I am petite and this may be too big for me? :-/. DH is 6'2 and I am only 5'0. However, we were only able to see the BOB Rev with 16 in wheels. The store did not have the 12' ones. Not sure if that makes a huge difference.
Re: moms w/ BOB strollers, pls come in!
1. WHat kind of BOB stroller do you have? Revolution. Wasn't aware they had different sizes, I bet mine is 16"
2. Where did you buy it? Gift from grandparents - they purchased at an REI in Oregon
3. What do you love/not love about it? haven't used it a whole lot yet but I love how smooth it is, my friend that I walk with has a cheap "jogging" style stroller and I was suprised how much less smoothly it goes along. I like how much the seat reclines and how easy it is to fold down.
4. Did you get another stroller (or Snap N Go) for everyday use or only have the BOB? I don't plan to take it on a plane so we got a cheapish umbrella stroller that I don't like at all (should have registered for something different but just picked one they had in store at BRU the day I registered) - it doesn't fold down easily at all, I push the button and it won't move. We don't have an infant seat but if I did I think a snap and go would be awesome.
5. Did you get the infant carseat adapter? If so, what kind of carseat do you have? n/a
I love Hawaii!

GET THE BOB REVOLUTION!!!!!!
It is the best stroller by far. I have the Baby Jogger City Classic. I *WISH* we had bought the Bob Revolution. My friends have it and love it.
Here is why: The tires are good on cracked city sidewalks. The car seat fits wonderfully into the stroller so you can use it instead of a snap & go. Unlike the Baby Jogger that I have, the Revolution is actually also a jogging stroller. It's not the best jogging stroller for serious marathon runners, but it is good for light jogging.
And how funny is this... I was JUST coming to the board SPECIFICALLY to thank YOU.... Because.....
As you might know, REI is having a SALE right now and their BOB strollers are all 15% off. Shipping is FREE to a store where you can pick it up, but they add on TAX and then you'd have to shlep out to Rockville or wherever to pick it up. Uggg.
So I remembered how you got Diapers.com to price match... And they did! We just got the BOB Ironman for $295.99 with no tax and free 2-day shipping! It would have been $313 at REI with shipping to their store and $349 regular price. YAY!!!!
FYI, we got the BOB Ironman because I want a stroller specifically for jogging. The Ironman has lower-profile tires and a fixed front wheel. If you are getting a stroller to tool around town and go everywhere, you'll want a swivel wheel.
Oh, if you do decide to get the BOB Revolution, check out LLBean also. I saw on BabyCheapskate.com that they are selling BOB's for 20% off. Not sure about shipping.
G/L!!! And thank you for letting me know about the Diaper.com price match!!!

1. WHat kind of BOB stroller do you have? The revolution with 16 in wheels
2. Where did you buy it? Amazon
3. What do you love/not love about it? I love how smooth it is, and how easily I am able to maneuver it. I don't really like how small the storage space is on the bottom and wish it came with cup holders vs having to purchase the attachment.
4. Did you get another stroller (or Snap N Go) for everyday use or only have the BOB? I did have a Graco stroller that we used for about a year. The snugride snapped into it, so we used that when she was an infant. The Bob was sort of a 1st birthday gift (for both baby and mom & dad).
5. Did you get the infant carseat adapter? If so, what kind of carseat do you have? n/a (see above) but I would consider the infant carseat adapter for a future child.
Thank you all for your comments. DH is convinced that we'll get the BOB Rev. It's funny, since we went stroller shopping last Sat, we've been checking out other people's strollers whenever we're out.
Malia - I am glad you were about to do price match! I am all for getting great deals so 2 thumbs up on your purchase
!! Did you use Ebates to access Diapers.com?? If so, you could get additional cash back!! It's not much but hey, every dollar counts! That's a good price for a BOB stroller! I wish I can avail of the great deal. We don't wanna buy yet since we want to include this in the registry and hope somebody will be generous enough to buy it for us LOL. Also, I've been meaning to email you since we got to check out Great Beginnings last Saturday. I'll send you a note shortly

Sorry I'm so late Ericka, we were building a fence this weekend.
1. WHat kind of BOB stroller do you have?
We have the BOB Revolution
2. Where did you buy it?
Local baby store
3. What do you love/not love about it?
I love how easily it moves. I find it perfect for running on city streets and hiking through trails. It also turns on a dime so it's great for in the mall. We have the car seat adapter so I use it as a snap and go too.
4. Did you get another stroller (or Snap N Go) for everyday use or only have the BOB?
Nope I use the BOB for everything.
5. Did you get the infant carseat adapter? If so, what kind of carseat do you have?
We have the Graco carseat. It's a little heavy. We got it from a friend and will definately be replacing for the next baby.

Another late reply. I can't answer long posts or do a lot of cut & paste when I'm using my iPhone to nest. I'm finally on the computer since J is napping in his bouncer, yay!!
1. WHat kind of BOB stroller do you have? BOB Revolution. I was interested in the 12" AW model but we couldn't find anywhere locally that carried it. For something so expensive, we definitely wanted to check it out before purchasing so we just ended up with the original Revolution. We're not hardcore joggers and our walks are on pavement so I think that the 12" AW would have been fine.
2. Where did you buy it? A local store. We tried shopping around for the best price but at the time there were no sales (online) and the local stores were selling it for MSRP, like everywhere else online we checked.
3. What do you love/not love about it? Definitely easy to maneuver, smooth ride, and it even fits in the back of our Prius! We're keeping it in the car for now, which makes my next point kind of pointless but...Although it's pretty lightweight for a stroller that size but because we live on the 3rd floor (no elevators), it's a little heavy for me to carry it up and down each time we want to use it, especially if I have to carry J in his infant seat at the same time.
4. Did you get another stroller (or Snap N Go) for everyday use or only have the BOB? We thought about getting a frame stroller also but when we looked at them in person, they just didn't seem too sturdy and since we were planning on buying the infant seat adapter for the BOB so that we could take J with us when we walked, we thought that we could do without one. When J is old enough to sit in the stroller, I'd like to get a lightweight umbrella stroller for quick errands and trips.
5. Did you get the infant carseat adapter? If so, what kind of carseat do you have? Yes, and we have a Graco Snugride.
I don't know if 3 inches is a huge difference, but I'm only 5'3" and I feel pretty comfortable pushing the stroller around.
