Doc moved my first appointment back a week

I am so disappointed. My doctor's office called and my doc decided she wanted to push my first u/s back a week to be able to see more development. I took the first open appointment so now I'll be 9w0d instead of 7w4d. I know it's not that big of a deal, but I think that's going to be the longest week and a half of my life. Tongue Tied

I feel like I have been waiting FOREVER!!! I had my first U/S at like 5 weeks and my next is June 1st- a little over 8 weeks. I even had the opportunity to have one when I was in the hospital this weekend but I was good. I was like no... DH isn't here and I want to trust everything is fine. Plus probably would have been $$$! I want to see that hb! It will also mark being past my first m/c...

Bleh, don't they know how hard it is on us to wait for those first appointments? I hope the time just breezes past. Mine crept up on me I can't believe it's tomorrow morning already, although that's probably because it's just a nurse appointment and isn't anything exciting.

Try to focus on how much cooler stuff with the baby you will see at 9 weeks!

Uhg, I'm sorry. I hate waiting!! You will be able to see way more at 9 weeks than 7 weeks though, so at least you have that to look forward to.

Seriously! That's so exciting that your first appointment is tomorrow- do they do an exam on you or just have a chat?

Nurse JK- I am glad we'll get to see more, that's true. And my first pregnancy the baby died at 8w3d so at least if it's still with us at that point, we'll have made it further than ever before! (Yes, I know that's fatalistic, but I'm scared.)

So sorry you have to go through this, but hopefully a happy, healthy, 9-week-old baby with a strong heartbeat will be your reward!

I see you're an attorney? My husband is too and it's a huge pain in the ass to get a date where we can both go together. She's lucky you didn't have a conflict.

I am, but I'm not practicing at the moment so that made it a bit easier. But for your hubs-- hell yeah there's no way you'd be able to change without it being a huge pain!

The next week and a half will fly by. I'm glad I chose to have mine at close to 9 weeks, because I wanted to be able to see more. I do have to say, since waking up this morning, I can hardly wait for it to be Friday for my u/s. I'm so excited!!

I get an exam a week from today. Tomorrow is just talking to the nurse and a blood draw. Still makes it feel more real though.

Yuk!!! The waiting sucks!! Mine is in 6 days and it feels like a LIFETIME!!!

The good part is by 9 weeks you may be able to have an abdominal and not a dildo cam!!
