I called my doc to get my actual beta numbers. They left a voicemail yesterday, but I was traveling on business and DH deleted it. Argh!!
So, I called and asked.
I had b/w done on Monday (5/17) and it was only 213. Then they had me repeat it a week later instead of 48 hours. Not sure why, but oh well. So, my numbers on Monday (5/24) were 5734!!
I was 5 weeks and 3 days on Monday (5/24). For some reason that number just seems really high to me and more than did it's doubling every 48 hours. I'm almost double what it should be.
Am I thinking too much into this? It's a great number, but for some reason I can't get multiples out of my mind. Ha! DH thinks I am nuts.

A high number doesn't equal twins as most people believe, not sure why docs even say it since every person is differant. You will obviously have higher numbers if there are twins but higher numbers don't mean twins.
Congrats on the increas though. This site is a great resource on numbers: https://www.americanpregnancy.org/duringpregnancy/hcglevels.html.
DITTO!! =D
Congrats on great numbers!
I am right there with you, wondering about multiples based on my betas. The nurse at my office even said to me "I don't want to freak you out, but these numbers would seem to indicate a strong possibility of more than one baby!" And I am off the charts according to the info at www.betabase.info - eek!
I'm going for an u/s a week from today to check. I'm so anxious to find out! Will you be having an early u/s too?
That's great! I'm so glad to hear it.
