When she was younger, I hated it. As soon as she could walk, she stopped sitting in the cart and every shopping trip became a tiring, stressful event.
Now, I love it! DD is a good little shopper, is generally very well-behaved in stores, and loves pushing her little shopping cart at the grocery store. I leave her home with DH if I have a long, specific list (like before a dinner party). It is so hard to concentrate on my list with her - she talks the entire time!

DD is generally really good in stores, and so far DS is as well. The main thing for me is that I'd love to be able to just run out the door, jump in the car, jump out and jet back- w/out lugging the carrier, getting DD in her side, getting DS in, then back to DD's side to strap her in. . . etc.
But then I see "challenging" kids who shriek/run away from parents in the store and I really can't complain.

With just one or the other, yes. With both, by myself... ugh, not so much. It's not that either are bad even, it's just lugging the diaper bag, keeping up with his energy, carrying her around. I always need a nap after I take the two of them out shopping together!
I pretty much always bring M shopping with me. I prefer to go alone, but if I have time to waste then it's fine. She loves to go with me. It's pretty hard with both of them, but I still go to the grocery store a couple times a week with them.
I love it, and so does DD. She's my little shopping buddy. I honestly think she likes going to Target even more than I do! She is so good when we shop that I actually would rather go with her than without her. She loves to tell me, "Oh look Mommy that's so CUTE!" or "No, don't buy that." lol
DITTO everything! My DD LOVES Target, she asks me all the time "Can we go shopping at Target?" I love doing outdoor malls with her too, it's so fun! And she'll say ooooo that's cuuuuuute tee hee!

DD loves Target, too, but she loves SuperTarget. Every single item that we buy there, when she gets home she'll tell DH, "We got this at SuperTarget."

Grocery shopping or Target shopping? - Yes. When we're driving down the road he will sometimes ask if we can go to Publix or Target. I could just go by myself most of the time while DS is at daycare, but a lot of time I purposefully wait until after I pick him up to go to the grocery store, so that he can go with me.
The mall? - No, most of the time. He's okay with riding in his stroller still, but he gets bored looking for clothes and likes to dictate which direction we go. "No, Mama. I'na go THAT way!" He likes it when we're out in the main part of the mall (walkways/open areas), but not in the stores.
If my goal is to get in and out, then no - I prefer by myself. If I am OK to deal with car seats, finding the racecar shopping cart, getting her a cookie at the bakery....then yes I enjoy taking her shopping and she loves to go.
Grocery store is fine. Both of my kids get really into it, and there's always a "teachable moment" in the grocery store, whether it's names of items, color recognition, shapes, reading skills, math, weighing and measuring, money skills, etc.
I hate shoe shopping with them. I wear an 11, so shoe shopping is frustrating for me anyway. If I have 2 bored cranky kids with me, it's worse. Other kinds of shopping are fine, though. Both my kids are good sports about shopping trips, as long as they get to do something fun like visit the toy dept, throw pennies in the water fountain, or get a treat, etc. They've even gone bathing suit shopping with me at the beach and helped me find a great bathing suit!
Grocery shopping or Target? Don't mind shopping with my girls. But I love shopping with just one. On Sunday mornings, we split the girls up and I take one girl grocery shopping with me. I enjoy it so much more than going with two.

I love shopping with Eva. She is generally content to sit in a cart so it's still a breeze. Mall shopping is getting tricky because she wants to walk on her own and loves to hide in the clothing racks which scares the crap out of me!

Clothes shopping - no way! DS is ok, but DD is horrendous. I leave them at home now.
Grocery shopping - it's ok, but for big shops they really need to stay at home.
To the mall? No way.

All the kids actually like shopping. They stay close and enjoy it.
BUT, I can NOT go clothes shopping for myself with all the kids. Way too hard......
