Puke bag for the car?

Lovely title right? When my gf was pg she retched in the car into a grocery bag (fortunately she had something) but it wasn't so sanitary, I'll leave it at that.  I know this is a weird thing to ask but does anyone have suggestions for this?  I haven't started retching yet but I'm afraid it will be soon and I'm very afraid it will happen in the car!  I carry saltines everywhere I go but it could still happen.

Isn't pregnancy great? "Are you glowing?" "NO! A-hole I just got rid of everything I've eaten in the last year!"  J/K I love being pg.

a large ziploc?  they're pretty sturdy and unlikely to have holes in them.  Just bring a few grocery bags to put your "used" ziploc into and tie them off so you don't have to look at it...

I carry a puke readiness kit everywhere LOL in my purse. it ha a pack of oyster crackers, a plastic bag and a colgate wisp (those little waterless toothbrushes for freshening up)

I'm always terrified I'm going to barf in a very public place, like in church ot at the grociery store. atleast this way i have a hope of not making it horrific for everyone else there too.

  • That's kinda what I was thinking, it would be the easiest and most economical way to deal with it.  I was researching it though and found "Morning Chicness Bags" that are like the airline sick-bags but are decorated.  $7.50 for 10 bags, wow, what some people would pay for.  Maybe I'm cheap but I like your suggestion instead.
  • I got sick on the way to work one morning and could not pull over.  I looked down in my passenger floorboard and saw a platic mug rolling around...yes, I ralphed into the mug as I was driving.  Luckily, I hadn't eaten anything yet since I wasn't feeling well, and it was only juice (sorry about the TMI).  Anyway, after that, I put a small paper bag and some paper towels in my car.  I figure it will do until I can pull over and discard.  I also keep hand sanitizer in there :-)  Luckily I haven't needed it since then.  Maybe ms is over for me..;-)
