This girl on 1T wants to name her daughter Paisley. What do you ladies think?

I personally think it's terrible, like naming your kid Argyle or Houndstooth or something.

    NMS, I have definitely heard worse though.

    I was watching a rerun of Toddlers and Tiaras and one of those little girls was named "Daylee"...like the daily newspaper?!

    I usually refrain from posting on threads about names. The reason for this is everyone's taste is sooo different. We are scattered all over the nation, each region has its' own trends and traditions. It just seems pointless when people ask for opinions on names here. What the heck do I know about you or your likes?! It's like asking someone what they should be having for dinner. Oh wait... they do that here too!

    P.S. I think Paisley is a lovely name. Besides, who needs anymore Emma's and Jacob's anyway?

    One of my top girls names is Paisyn, and after hearing that people suggested Paisley to me... Personally I like Paisyn better, but Paisley isn't horrible. Then again, my taste is far different than most peoples.

    It's one of those names that, in my head, I think is pretty, but I wouldn't actually name a child.  I don't think it's a horrible name, though.

    hahaha That is so crazy you said this, cause when we first found out we were pregnant I started a list with this name on it- probably 2 or 3 weeks later I crossed that off and thought to myself.. "What in the hell was I thinking?" there were a few more crazy names I had but to save myself the embarrassment, I'll keep them to myself.
