Coworker Outing!

Errrgh! I told my coworker that I was expecting because I have team taught with her and she teaches OB so if I have questions she is a good person to ask. Also, she kind of figured it out before me. I told her and I told the teacher I will be team-teaching but told them both not to tell others. I am pretty sure the OB teacher freakin told because I just got congratulated in an email by the new pediatric teacher (I went to part-time and she took my job). I really am not a huge fan of her and don't want the whole freakin nursing department to know! I am just going to say thanks to those congratulate me but say I really don't want people to know because I had a m/c in december so please don't talk about it. I don't even care if I seem rude. Why can't people keep their freakin mouths shut??? Angry From this I learned, no you can't trust your coworkers. Irritates me people I don't even know/like well know and my siblings don't!

Sorry for the rant! Grrr!

    People suck at keeping secrets. It's why you can't tell anyone until you are ready for everyone they know to know.

    Exactly. The girls at my old waitressing job knew (I ordered ice tea at the bar and they outted me, lol) I told them not to tell anyone and they told just about every regular who came and sat up at the bar, LMAO. Wasn't a huge deal but comical cause I knew they couldn't keep their mouths shut ;)

    I have only told a few close friends and family at this point (and made them aware we were keeoing it quiet). One of my closest friends has the same hairdresser as me, and she told her! I know this becuse she told me she told her... Indifferent

    Needless to say I was not to pleased, but much ado about nothing at this point

    Some people just get so excited, they don't realize our fears of m/c. I would tell them why you don't want them to say anything.
