My Dr's Office...

Is so annoying.. I called there last friday to set up an appt as soon as i got my BFP.. The earliest they could get me in was this Friday... Since i dont like barfing I asked if they thought the Dr could call in a perscription for Dycletin(sp) just incase it happened.. They told me they had to confirm the pregnancy first.. Sweet.

So anyways I called back yesterday to see if my appt on Friday was just going to be my Dr sending me to get bw done and if so, why not send me earlier that way my results can be told to me on Friday? They said they would call me back at work... They called me at home and by the time i got home the office was closed... And getting through to speak to an actual human being there is like trying to call into a radio station to win a trip for 2. The line is ALWAYS busy. Sooooo Annnoying...

Re: My Dr's Office...

  • Do you have M/S already?  If not I wouldn't worry...most people don't start getting sick that early.   My first appt is Friday so there really is no rush to get in.

    Good Luck

  • Most first appt. are between 8-10 weeks so I would consider yourself lucky be even getting in to see you doctor that soon.

Like the previous poster asked; do you have m/s or are you just expecting to get it?

I'd try and relax because you've got a long road ahead of you....

    How aggrevating!
  • I have to wait another 3 weeks to see my doctor (yes look down at my ticker and note that I am at week 7).  Be lucky that you get to see yours on Friday.

ETA: I didn't get m/s with either pregnancy till the 7th week (started last Friday).  You should be fine.
