induction tomorrow, name help NEEDED!

i love the name Jackson.  but have already decided that LOs middle name will be Michael, and i cant get SO of off it.  please tell me the name Jackson Michael doesnt make you absolutely sick to your stomach.

ive also suggested

Jackson James

Jackson Lee

Jackson Anthony

i would use just Jack, but the last name starts with a C.  im open to suggestions, please help me.  SO also wants to spell it Jaxon.  now i know i spelled DDs name with an I instead of a Y, but replacing CK with an X is differant IMO.

  • Jackson Michael?  really?  oh my.  Jaxon Michael is even worse I think.  Maybe you could do John Michael and use Jack as a nn?

  • Jackson Michael = BIG NO.  I like Jackson Lee or Anthony much better.  Sorry!

  • I'm only answering because you asked for our opinions, other wise, I'd probably just keep my mouth shut, but Please go with any of the other beautiful names you suggested instead.  Jackson Anthony sounds lovely.

  • Yeah Jackson Michael doesn't sound quite right rolling off the tongue and I am not a fan of spelling it with an X! I have a friend whose son is named Jackson Thomas.  But it depends on what MNs are able to be used, have good/bad association, etc. GL!

  • a friend of mine is using Jackson Cole. Don't use the Jackson Michael!

  • maybe you could pull the "i'm carrying this child and therefore I get the last word" approach with your SO?  It really is for the good of the child that you don't name him Jackson Michael.

    i agree

  • I like Jackson Michael!! But I like Jackson Anthony and if his last name begins with a C.....it will be J.A.C.
  • What happened to Dane Michael? (name on your ticker?)

I agree - no to Jackson Michael (and I agree Jaxon is even worse).

If you've already agreed on the middle name, mabye go back to the drawing board on first names.

  • I'm definitely not a fan of Jackson Michael.

I like Jackson Lee the best out of your choices.

Maybe tell DH the name may be spelled Jaxon if he lets you use the middle name of your choice?

I also like Dane Michael better than Jackson Michael...I don't like Jackson Michael at all - I'm sorry your husband is being so difficult.

Does he always want your son to be linked to the "king of pop"? Ick!

I totally agree with this. LOVE Dane Michael. Noooo to Jackson Michael, no to Jaxon, and for me personally no to Jackson as well (so popular right now)

  • if he was the king of pop, i wouldnt care.  its the other part that bothers me.

My cousin named her son Jackson Michael last year and never talked about it with anyone before hand. Then when they announced his birth/name (and ever since) people make fun of them and make jokes about how the "King of Pop is entering the building"... not sure that was the effect they were going for. :)

     I love Jackson Lee, though!
