Can I get your opinion on a b-day cake?

I'm going to make Audra's birthday cake, but am not sure which I like better between these two cakes. The ladybug will be a shade of pink rather than red.

I would add spots to the cake above instead of the small flowers.

    I'm partial to the first one, but probably because I was going to make that one until we changed DD's party theme.

    But I love them both!

    How big is the first one? It looks a little small depending on how many people you have coming.

    Could the 2nd one be the guest cake and the first one be the smash cake for LO?

    You can get the pan off of wilton.com or at hobby lobby. It's about $13. Wilton.com has some cute ideas with color variation:)

    I like the second one...but then I have never decorated a cake and it looks more complicated than the first one!  Both are very cute!!!

    I like the 2nd one, but only because I like ladybugs to be red.

    I was hoping there was going to be a majority vote lol!

    The first would be easier to do, but I used to decorate cakes and have enough experience that I'm not too intimidated by the second one.

    Hmmm, I think I'm leaning toward the second.

    With your experience, I would definitely say #2.  That one is adorable!!!
