Heartburn

I have had heartburn SO bad for the past week and it's just killing me. Even water is making me belch fire. Confused Anyone have any good remedies besides tums? Tums doesn't really work for me and we can't have Pepcid. I've tried peppermints and peppermint oil but that only works partially.

Sorry about the heartburn, that really sounds yukky. This is one symptom I never had and my girl was born for a FULL head of hair, so the old wive's tale wasn't true for me. If I hear of any remedies, I'll let you know. My friend had terrible heartburn with both of her pregnancies, I'll ask her what she did.

Hey there girlie!! My parents were in town for the weekend so that meant NO bumping. My parents get very offended if I spend any time on the internet with them around. Huh?

I've found that fresh meyer lemons squeezed into water can work wonders on heartburn, even really really bad heartburn. I have no idea how or why, becuase it sounds like the worst idea, but it really does work. I also find it works better with room temperature or cool water than it does with ice water. Hope you find some relief!
