There so should be a board...

Subtitled:

I was planning a natural birth, but then my baby _____'s heartrate dropped/ got stuck/turned out to be too big to fit through my tiny hole____ and I ended up with an unplanned/emergency C/S.

Seriously aren't all births natural?  I didn't know having a baby could be unnatural....

    Couldn't agree more! You pretty much just wrote the short version of my birth story =)

    Apparently, it just isn't natural to give birth the way we did.  We are sooo over sensitive.

    Someone sure wasn't paying attention when they named that board.  @sshats.

    As a c/s mama, that board doesn't bother me in the least.  It is great to plan for the birth you want.  What they also need over there are nice people to prepare them for the fact that they may not get the experience they want.  Hopefully whatever birth experience they have will result in the outcome they truly do want: healthy baby and healthy mama.

    If you are really bitter about your delivery not going as hoped, there is a post on the AP board right now with a book recommendation.  It does suck but hoepfully your end result is as I said above.

    I'm not bitter - I just think it is named wrong.  I got the most amazing result from my delivery - a healthy baby.  My point was that my birth/anyone's birth is no less natural then an unmedicated one.
