Mama sounds so much better

then dadadadadada!! I knew she would say dadada first, and it's not like she associates it with him, but it still sucked!

She's been saying mamama while crying for about a month, but yesterday was the first time without crying!

I asked her to say mama and she looked at me, smiled and started laughing. So, I asked her again she said 'mama' and leaned in and gave me a kiss! There is nothing better then that!

This is so cute! She was making "dadada" sounds, she wasn't saying Dada! She definitely said Mama with meaning! She knows who you are. That's so sweet!

I know the feeling. DD usually only says mama when she's crying. But lately when she's playing she'll say mama. But has yet to say it directly to me.

So love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living."

Nothing better in the entire world!  That must have been her gift to you for her first birthday.

Haha!  i agree... Liam was doing the DADADADADA thing for a long time and here in the past couple weeks he's started doing MAMAMAMAMAMA lol.  I answer him too just so he gets the idea I will when he makes that noise.
