January 2011 Moms

Lunch?

Just woke up from a lovely nap with a verp and then giant burp when I sat up. Soooo glamorous this pregnancy stuff. Gonna take some zantac and the dogs for a walk before I eat some lunch. Any ideas? Of course... nothing sounds good, lol! I have had a bagel and cream cheese and a banana and peanut butter so far. I am thinking I need some protein if possible... What have/are you ladies having?

I had a bacon and tomato wrap.  It was good, but probably only because i've been craving bacon like no other lately.

Umm, you know Ceasar dressing is made with raw eggs, a big no no. I found out the hard way, by ordering it then looking on an iphone app to see if anchovies were ok and it specifically said no ceasar dressing because it is made with raw eggs. I later confirmed it with my doctor....

  • oh wow thanks! glad I read this before lunch...man can't have my favorite salad for another 9 months :(

Not all Caesar dressing is made with raw eggs. You might want to confirm the exact kind you're eating. Some versions are pasteurized.

    Just an FYI.

Yes, this is correct.  Most caesar dressing isn't, actually.  The kinds that often do contain raw eggs are homemade or made in a fancy restaurant.
