rolling over, now lazy

in Babies: 3 - 6 Months

DS starting rolling belly to back on his 4m birthday.  Lately, he hasnt done it at ALL!  He also has shown he CAN roll back to belly, but again, its few and far between when he actually gets off his fat butt and does it.

Anyone else experience this?  Im guessing that since hes shown he CAN do the skill, I shouldnt be concerned.....

    DS rolled from tummy to back first, at about 3 months...but since then has stopped altogether. He can roll from back to tummy, and does it all the time, but it's like he's forgotten how to roll back onto his back...

    1.  Your siggy cracks me up every time.

    2.  Yup.  Not so much with DS, but with DD she didn't care about rolling over or crawling at all.  She'd do it sporadically, like, yep, I still got that skill, it's cool.  Then one day she stood up and pretty much took off and hasn't been still since.

    I was just saying the same thing about ds.  He went from back to stomach, then stomach to back and he  then became a rolling machine.  Now it's like he can't be bothered!  He only rolls around when I put him to sleep.

    It seems like every time DD learns something new she will do it for a while then stop completely!  She's like...ok been there, done that now on to the next new thing!

    Same here!  DD rolled over last week three times in a row, then waited another week to roll over again...funny baby!
