I love that 2nd tri is already deeming that board "for the crazies".
Seriously?
I wondered when it would be spammed by the "stab me in the back" types.
I really don't understand the judgment against women who choose pain free. Our culture is so backwards. If our bodies were built for anything, it's to do this one amazing thing!

To clarify, I'm not judging how anyone does birth. However, the "stab me in the backs" are usually pretty vehemently anti all natural. Hence my characterization. I'm sure we'll be seeing more of those badges pop up now that the natural birth board has been created.

someone on 3rd tri already has her panties in a twist over it.
Honestly, I only get frustrated when people don't research their options ... probably the same "just stab me in the back" crew. But no one ever asks a woman who wants an epi, "Good God, why?!" or tells her that she won't be able to have the birth she wants because she "can't handle it." Our culture is very pro-epi/meds, and looks down on "natural" birth -- almost as though my decision is a judgment on their decision.

Nice. Because really, how someone else wants to birth impacts what she does.
finally! i requested this board when i first got my BFP and i was majorly flamed! I was told then if that was the case there needed to be a board for epi births, c-sections, etc etc etc. Which obviously is ridiculous. so glad the bump listened and glad to know i am not alone in wanting this!
