Yikes, FYI waxing "down below" hurts more now

Indifferent Just went to the salon so my doctor isn't greeted by a wookie hooha on Friday, and yeah...it hurt more than usual.

    woooooah yeah it'll hurt a lot more than usual and it'll also bruise a lot more than usual so dont be suprised if it does.?

    personally I always think, if my hooha is the worst he's seen then I live in a town of porn stars!! Seriously dont feel the need to groom up for Doc, or even for hubby frankly LOL before long we wont be able to see it to do anything about it and seriously waxing can get pretty hairy during pregnancy (pun totally intended) our skin does wierd things and we're in for plenty of pain over the next year, I'm not gonna add to it LOL?

    Increased blood flow??? I am not a super hairy girl but even if I were I wouldn't go through this for my MD. They make enough money to have to deal with some bush. They chose obstetrics knowing good and well what that means!

    I waxed myself yesterday and couldn't figure out why I was so bruised! I had no idea it was related to the pregnancy!!

    I've never tried waxing, but was thinking about starting...until I waxed my eyebrows and they hurt like hell, and I don't normally even flinch at it. I need to think of something though. I went 6 days without shaving last week (instead of the usual 3-4) and looked like sasquatch. When they say your hair grows faster they don't mess around. My armpit hair has to be shaved every other day now or else it looks like a week's gone by! It's ridiculous.

    I believe you! I get allergy shots every week and I remember the day before my BFP thinking, "OMG, these really hurt this week!" And they have been brutal ever since. Decreased pain threshold... not so fun, actually.
