Anyone else's 1st appt at 10 weeks?

With DD, my first prenatal appt was at 8 weeks, which seemed pretty common among both IRL and online people. But we moved, so I switched OB practices, and this one doesn't do first appointments until 10 weeks. Which means not until July 6th... UGH. Seems so, so far away, especially when I'd been mentally preparing myself for mid-June.

Anyone else's OB practice do 10 weeks instead of 8? I'm wondering if it's actually more common than I realize...

    Strangely I have my first prenatal appointment and ultrasound scheduled next week, at 12 weeks!  I was definitely earlier with my first pregnancy but this is how they scheduled me this time. I feel like I've been waiting forever too!

    I had my first prenatal appt with OB yesterday which was 10 weeks exactly.  I've read that many bumpies can't get an appt until 12 weeks.
    2nd ectopic resulted in loss of tube. HSG revealed remaining tube is "severely torqued".
    IVF #1: ER 03/29/10; ET 04/01/10: transferred 2 embies; Beta #1 (9dp3dt)- 45; Beta #2 (11dp3dt)- 91= BFP
    FET#1: ET 04/18/12: transferred 4 embies; Beta #1: >2 = BFN
    IVF #2: ER 06/20/12; ET 6/25/12: transferred 2 embies; Beta #1 on 7/5/12= BFN
    8/16: hysteroscopy for polyp removal
    11/11: hysteroscopy #2 for yet another polyp removal
    FET#2: ET 12/15/12: transferred 3 embies; Beta #1 (9dp5dt): 12/24/12: 426; Beta #2 (11dp5dt): 845= BFP
    u/s 1/9= triplets!; miscarried all three on 1/10/13...

    I see the nurse on June 2nd for blood work (first appt at all) then I see my OB June 25th and I'll be almost 10 weeks at that point.  However...not that this matters, but I think I O'd much later than a typical cycle, so I'll probably be more like 9 weeks.

    My first appointment with DD was around 8 weeks, but this time around it was at 10w, 5 days.
    Mom to J (10), L (4), and baby #3 arriving in July of 2015

    My first "real" appt will be at 10 weeks. I had an u/s last week for bleeding but we still haven't gone over medical history, blood work, etc.

    My OB will see patients at 7 to 8 weeks for an ultrasound to date the pregnancy and then the first OB appt is schedule for around 10 weeks. I may go in at 10 weeks instead of 7 because my insurance changes July 1st.

    Mine is scheduled for 10 weeks.  She told me they usually schedule them 10-12 weeks.  It seems so far out.  I hate waiting.

    My first official appointment wasn't until I was 10 weeks. I did go in at 8 weeks to fill out my family history and they took my blood for all the tests, but I never saw a doctor.

    My appt is also at ten wks. But this was my choice. They would have gotten me in earlier but DH and I want to wait until we're sure something will be seen (God willing).
