Cutest heartbeat ever : )

So, DH and I just returned from my 1st ultrasound.  It was so surreal.

The ultrasound tech did a transvaginal ultrasound since it's still early, and we were able to see our little baby AND its heartbeat!

I've never seen a cuter little tadpole-like mass than what appeared on the screen, and the flicker of a heartbeat was precious (at 114 BPM, by the way)!  I'm so relieved!

DH and I got lunch and celebratory milkshakes after the appointment.  Now I'm back at work.  Boy, will it be hard to concentrate this afternoon.  I just want to stare at our little B&W ultrasound photo!

    That's so great! Can you show it to your parents or somebody you have told? Otherwise, I suggest you resist all temptation! Great news though!

    DH and I have decided not to tell anyone until the 2nd trimester.  So, he's the only one I can share the photo with.  It will probably drive me nuts, but that's okay.  At least we get to see it!
