FYI- I think you went to the same daycare as my friend who went to the GTG. She said that Hand-foot-mouth disease is going around at the daycare pretty fiercely and her DD has it now. Just thought you might want to be on the look out for your DD.
Yes, same daycare! I am really worried...so far in Leah's room only one other child has had it and is now recovered and back, so her teacher has been trying to keep her class separate from the other classes as much as possible. They have signs posted everywhere and a notice on the door. I am keeping my fingers crossed because this our last week of school and DH and I would be in a real bind if she gets sick...

HFM went around our daycare and there was even a case of it in Katie's room. She never came down with it as far as we could tell.
As far as what do to if she gets it, the pedi says that once they get the rash, they are past the point of contagiousness, so there's really no reason to keep them home if they aren't running a fever/miserable.

This makes me feel a little better....she has a pretty strong immune system so I am hopeful. We'll see...
