Full Moon Thursday....

So there is a full moon this thursday. I have read that full moons cause more womans water to break? That even the hospitals staff their L&D with more people during full moons! I am due June 1st, but im hoping this full moon will make me go in labor...plus its my birthday, and what a better birthday present then getting to see my baby girl :)

 Has anyone else heard of full moons and labor?

    I have heard this... but I don't put much accuracy in it (avoiding getting my hopes up).  I too am hoping to go into labor on thursday.

    The L & D nurse that taught our childbirth class said they are much busier during full moons and storms (pressure change).  Fingers crossed that we will have our full moon babies!

    I am actually dreading it. I think I am not close enough to 40 wks for it to have that affect on me and feel I will just have a painful night in store for me Sad

    I think all of us who around our due dates or past due are hoping the full moon phenomenon works in our favor. :)

    Well, when I first saw that the full moon was 5/27, I was like "no way do I want to wait for that" but now, I'm hoping it happens.  I'm scheduled for an induction on Friday, but I'd LOVE a full moon surprise on Thursday!  I'm getting tired of being pg!

    Well tomorrow I stop taking meds that stop contractions and I'm off bed rest, so hopefully this full moon won't do anything to me! Lol

    If I don't go into labor sooner, I will be induced on Thursday!  And it is going to rain here today, tomorrow and thursday!  :::keeping my fingers crossed:::

    After working on ambulances and in Emergency Rooms I know for a fact that a full moon brings the trolls out!!!  I would love to have this baby early but I think it's bit too early for me

    i have read on here from another bumpie it works one full day before and three days after.  i am scheduled for my elective induction that day.  im hoping it doesnt work around here.  my doc told me if they were to busy that day i wouldnt be able to get in for my induction.  no labor dust for jax, please!
