Re: tuesday poll for fun
1. My "diaper bag" right now is a Vera Bradley bag I just got for my birthday. I also keep a large, traditional diaper bag in my car with more back ups (more diapers, extra outfit) no pics right now cause I'm busy
2. Don't flame me - Trader Joe "veggie sticks" (ie: french fries)
3. No. Not at all!
4. No idea
5. Friends
6. I'd be swimming in the Olivine Pools in Maui right now
7. Yes...the first 2 boks...I enjoyed it! Hated the movie
1. Do you love your diaper bag? What kind do you have (PIP if you are really cool)?
I can't say that I love it, but I don't hate it either. I don't carry it all the time, but I usually keep it in the car for when I need it. I have this monogrammed tote from Land's End, the large size. It's not technically a diaper bag, but it's functional with lots of inside pockets.
2. What is your current secret weapon in your diaper bag for a fussy baby/toddler?
Bubbles and Cheerios
3. Do you get into the Indy 500 at all? Root for any team or driver?
I love going to the race for the amazingly hilarious people watching, but I'm not a fan of any particular team or driver.
4. If you could have one Food Network or famous chef come over and cook for you, who would it be?
I don't watch the Food Network.
5. What was one of your favorite or most memorable television season finales of all time?
I can't really remember.
6. If you could do whatever you wanted to today/right now, what would it be?
I would be home getting laundry done, my house cleaned and organized for the weekend and getting my shopping lists planned out. I have way too much going on this week, both work-wise and home-wise.
7. Did you read the Twilight series? Should I read it?
I read it and enjoyed it, so I say yes. I have all of the books if you want to borrow them.
1. I love my PPB touring tote, but it's too small for 2. I need to get a bigger one! the one i have is teal and brown brocade. I bought it used and it's beautiful!
2. the snack trap with puffs!
3. I am rooting for Tony Kanaan and I always like the women drivers. I am going on Sunday!
4. Bobby Flay, love him!
5. Grey's season 2 with Denny...also the end of MASH and St Elsewhere.
6. Work on my garage sale stuff! Shop for maternity clothes...
7. IDK,everyone keeps telling me to read it.
1. My big one is the Skip Hop City Chic in Columbus Circle:
Honestly I don't use it that much. Mostly I use my smaller Eddie Bauer one - that one I love! Jason can carry it too if he needs to.

2. What is your current secret weapon in your diaper bag for a fussy baby/toddler? Extra pacifiers?
3. Do you get into the Indy 500 at all? Root for any team or driver? No, I've never even actually been to watch it. In highschool, some of our band fundraisers were working at the concessions and that's as close as I've been.
4. If you could have one Food Network or famous chef come over and cook for you, who would it be? Can I pick several? One for everyday of the week?
5. What was one of your favorite or most memorable television season finales of all time? I loved Grey's this season - so intense!
6. If you could do whatever you wanted to today/right now, what would it be? Not be sick - take the day off - and play at a pool.
7. Did you read the Twilight series? Should I read it? Yes - loved them! Easy reads, but addicting. I have them if you want to borrow them.
1. Yes I love mine and will probably always have a Petunia Pickle Bottom bag--the shoulder bag is my favorite. I am *still* mainly carrying my PPB Raspberry Fields Shoulder Bag
I got the Meandering in Marrakech Shoulder Bag though at the last sale. I am going to start carrying it soon--as soon as I find a purse to match. Yeah, I'm really weird, I know.
2. A travel magna doodle and travel etch-a-sketch. They keep her occupied when we go out to eat. And they aren't messy, like crayons.
3. Not at all. I went to the race the first year I moved here (2002) but haven't gone back since!
4. Tyler Florence. I love all his recpies and he's cute!
5. hmmmm, not sure.
6. Sitting on the beach or by a pool, with a really hot body and a fruity alcoholic drink. lol!
7. Nope!
1. Do you love your diaper bag? What kind do you have (PIP if you are really cool)?
I don't really use a diaper bag. I usually just take 2 wetbags (one for clean changing pad, diapers, creams, change of clothes and the other for dirty diapers) in this massive purse. I have a small cosmetic bag with hand sanitizer, lotion, whatever I need.
I also have this tote bag that I sometimes use:
Or a super small tote from Lands End that I use for short outings...
2. What is your current secret weapon in your diaper bag for a fussy baby/toddler?
Cheerios!
3. Do you get into the Indy 500 at all? Root for any team or driver?
Nope...
4. If you could have one Food Network or famous chef come over and cook for you, who would it be?
Paula Deen - well, actually just her son.
5. What was one of your favorite or most memorable television season finales of all time?
I can't stop thinking about the Grey's finale last week. But, before that, probably the Friend's Series Finale.
6. If you could do whatever you wanted to today/right now, what would it be?
Go home and curl into a ball.
7. Did you read the Twilight series? Should I read it?
Yes and yes!!
1. Do you love your diaper bag? What kind do you have (PIP if you are really cool)? I like my diaper bad but don't love it. My mom bought it for me and I don't know the brand. I love the look of it...things just get lost in it.
2. What is your current secret weapon in your diaper bag for a fussy baby/toddler? The book If you Give a Moose a Muffin. E could look at and be read that book a million times in a row. She loves it! Also she is loving yogurt covered raisins right now.
3. Do you get into the Indy 500 at all? Root for any team or driver? I don't really get into it. We listen to it at our cookout but I don't root for anyone in particular. I don't really like Danica...she seems like such a cold person.
4. If you could have one Food Network or famous chef come over and cook for you, who would it be? Curtis Stone...for the cooking and so I could stare at him
I didn't watch him on Celebrity Apprentice though.
5. What was one of your favorite or most memorable television season finales of all time? Seinfeld
6. If you could do whatever you wanted to today/right now, what would it be? Hang out at a pool with E and DH...and the pool would be warm enough to hang out in!
7. Did you read the Twilight series? Should I read it? Tried to but couldn't even finish the first book. They aren't for me. Not into them!
1.
I love my diaper bag! The bottle compartments are insulated making it really easy to travel with milk. It's very compartmentalized making it really easy to find things inside. Plus it weighs nothing! It's SO much lighter than my Bumble Bag.
2. animal crackers!
3. definitely not!
4. Umm, what about Annie?!?!
5. I'm not really much of a TV watcher, but we both about cried when we watched the finale of Arrested Development.
6. Stay in my pj's all day or go to the park as a family and take a nice long walk.
7. I don't read.
I totally second Annie.
1. It's ok. I only really carry it if we're going to be out for more than a couple hours now, otherwise I carry a large purse toss in essentials. I have a Carter's lime green and black one, nothing special.
2. Non-toys always do the trick: my phone, keys, wallet, etc.
3. Not at all
4. Anyone but Rachel Ray. She drives me nuts.
5. The only one that really comes to mind is the Friends season finale that ended with Joey and Rachel kissing. I got so caught up in the moment that I accidentally slapped my bf (at the time) in the face! He was rooting for Joey and I was rooting for Ross.
6. Relaxing on a beach vacation, or maybe taking Isabella to Disney. She loves Mickey.
7. Never read it. Haven't seen the movies either.
1. yeah, I like my coach one the best, but only because it's the biggest. I must carry a large bag for some reason.
kate spade
Carters similar to this but lime green, not pink edging
2. Sophie.
3. Yup, I worked there for 5 years and go back on event weekends to help out. I love the atmosphere, but like the 400 better!
4. n/a
5. Friends
6. relaxing by a pool somewhere, anywhere!
7. nope
1. Diaper Bag - It's an Eddie Bauer diaper bag I think. We've had it for way too long and I will probably buy a new one after Ashlyn is born and depending on whether Haley is PT'ed.
2. Secret Weapon - Snacks and a sippy/drink. Sometimes it's yogurt raisins or dried fruit, sometimes it's something really "special" like fruit snacks.
3. Indy 500 - I like TK and Marco Andretti. I'm so glad TK was able to qualify this past weekend. I wish we could go the race this year but I'll be checking out of the hospital with a newborn. We're already planning to go next year! The sound of the cars is so exhilarating!
4. Food Network/Famous Chef - Paula Deen, hands down. I'm a comfort food kind of girl and think it would just be AWESOME to meet her.
5. Season Finale - Probably Friends. I miss that show desperately.
6. Do whatever I want - I would pack DH and I up and go on a couples only trip to somewhere tropical. We need the couple time and it's going to be sparse with a newborn and toddler in the house. Well make time, but I'm just imagining how much more difficult it will be until the baby gets on a schedule of some sort in a few months. We both really want to go to Hawaii, but we're talking about making that a 10 year anniversary trip just so we have time to save up the $$ to really go all out if we want.
7. Twilight - Didn't read it and believe it or not, don't really have the urge to read it either. I just haven't gotten caught up in the hype.
1. Love our diaper bag! Bought it on babysteals.com...it's a Lassig black backpack diaper bag...so functional!
2. Sippy cup with juice!
3. Not really...prefer Nascar.
4. Curtis from Take Home Chef
5. This season's Grey's finale!!!
6. Go on vacation
7. Yes...but I'm so behind...only read Twilight so far.
TTC #2 since 9/09 --- mild PCOS; Endometriosis
IUI x4 = BFN
IVF = sometime in 2012
We'll be in HHI in July and I am so tempted to go to her restaurant in Savannah. I hear the wait is really bad though, so I'll probably not win there. On my FB status the other day, I said it would be funny if Jillian Michaels had an intervention with Paula Deen and her love of butter!
1. Do you love your diaper bag? What kind do you have (PIP if you are really cool)?
I have a Lexi Barnes bag. I'm not sure I can love a diaper bag but it is fine.
2. What is your current secret weapon in your diaper bag for a fussy baby/toddler?
puffs
3. Do you get into the Indy 500 at all? Root for any team or driver?
I went once and it was enough for me. I can't stand being around that much smoke!
4. If you could have one Food Network or famous chef come over and cook for you, who would it be?
Bobby Flay! I have a serious crush on him.
5. What was one of your favorite or most memorable television season finales of all time?
The Grey's one sticks out because it was so recent. I also loved Friends ("I got off the plane")
6. If you could do whatever you wanted to today/right now, what would it be?
Leave right now for my long weekend home. I need my momma fix.
7. Did you read the Twilight series? Should I read it?
I freaking loved Twilight. I read them all last summer including books 3 & 4 twice.
How does she stay so thin?? LOL!! She is always making the most fantastic desserts. My goodness. I don't know how she does it with her schedule. I'm completely, unabashedly jealous of her, her blog is fantastic!
Diaper Bag: Kate Spade. It's big, black, perfect. I went through four or five before I settled on this one. I always go back to Kate Spade.
Secret Weapon: Plastic rings/links and animal crackers.
Indy 500: Nope, not my thing. At all.
Food Network: Chef Jesse from Private Chefs of Beverly Hills. Love him!
TV Finale: I have to think that Lost was right up there. I remember feeling sad when Rosanne went off the air, but the last season sucked, so it wasn't as big of a deal.
Do Whatever: Go shopping by myself and not worry about spending $.
Twilight: Nope, I keep telling myself that I need to - I just can't find time!
1. Do you love your diaper bag? What kind do you have (PIP if you are really cool)?

Animal crackers and small container of play dough.
3. Do you get into the Indy 500 at all? Root for any team or driver?

Hands down, Paula Deen
5. What was one of your favorite or most memorable television season finales of all time?

6. If you could do whatever you wanted to today/right now, what would it be?
I would be camping at Disney World.
7. Did you read the Twilight series? Should I read it?
I don't, but I'm thinking this series could be the start of some summer reading for me.
~GRACIE JEAN 7-5-08~
No freaking kidding. I can't imagine being that put together! I also think that she is really sweet because I don't even know her but we are friends on facebook and she has sent me a few PMs with cooking help/recipes/etc. So nice!
