nope Dh comes to any appointment where there will be a heartbeat or a US the only ones he doesnt go to are nurses appt. though that is a little odd, most hubbies dont go to THAT many i'm just a bit on a skiddish side.
I think it's great! My best friend's husband goes to every single appointment, even the unscheduled visits. My husband is going to try and go to as many as he can, we're hoping for all of them. One thing that's good about him coming is that if you forget any instructions or the answers to any questions he may be more likely to fill in the blanks. (BTW, that's SO not what I thought you were going to ask considering what your post says, but then I have a dirty mind)
My DH went to my 1st app't with my new obgyn and was in the room when they did the exam (we were on vacation that week). He was actually more than a little unnerved by the experience. He won't be able to come to future appointments b/c he works an hour away.

This will probably be the first time you see a heartbeat. Its a pretty special experience to share with DH. My DH probably won't go to my next appt because it will probably just be a weight and blood pressure check in. He will be going with me to any u/s appts.
I give up trying to get a ticker. I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome. Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself. Hmmm. How about...
