Anyone still in shock?

We weren't exactly trying though we did have sex during a fertile time, and well to be honest it was only my 3 cycle of off BCP and I figured I wouldn't get pregnanct right away.  Needless to say when my period was late I just assumed it ws my LP finally getting a bit longer.  SO I was very suprised when I poas...because I am a poasaholic...and got a BFP.  It was kind of like this Indifferent then Big Smile and now Indifferent again.  Just wondered if anyone was still feeling what I am.

    Haha - CONGRATS!! I remember feeling that way when I was pg with DS now I'm like "here we go again!!" LOL.

    I got pregnant the first cycle that we tried. I obviously wanted to get pregnant, but everyone tells you that it might take several months, so don't get your hopes up! A few weeks later I was totally shocked when AF didn't make an appearance. 5 positive tests later, and I was certain I was expecting! Can't wait for my first doctor appt on June 7th. Good luck!!

    yup same here...i keep hoping this was a logical decision. the youngest two will only be at the most 13 months apart and believe it or not it wasn't an accident

    Yep.  There are times when I think about it and I'm like, "oh yeah, I'm pregnant."  We had just decided to let things happen, and they happened a lot quicker than I expected.  I'm not complaining at all, just still surprised.

    Well after 15 months of trying for dh and I, it seems too good to be true right now. I am SO excited about this baby and am praying everything goes fine but of course I am worried! I must admit that I am mainly Smile though!

    I just found out I am pregnant again with # 2 on Sunday...I am still in shock but it is slowly wearing off.

    DH and I are still in shock and we found out about 3 weeks ago! LOL   It's still very surreal for us that we will be having our first baby, but we are really excited!

    Well I am happy to see I am not alone in my state of uhh...well shock!  I'm sure it will sink in but I find myself doing things I probably shouldn't be doing so I am going to have to get it straight soon :)  Congrats to the rest of you who are feeling just like me.

    Hi MrsPreK, Yep I'm in Michigan...somewhat Northern Michigan I suppose.  Not the upper or anything :)  Congrats on baby # 3

    I also thought it would take a few months for us!  I was SO shocked when I found out, I'm still Indifferent .  We haven't told anyone yet (waiting until our first appt mid June) so I think once we do & our whole family goes crazy it'll really sink in..  I even took another pg test last week to 'verify' again!  lol  =)

    I'm with you. This was our first cycle trying and I convinced myself it wouldn't happen because of everything I have read and heard. We were both happily surprised but I am still in shock.

    Definitely still in shock, although every day it gets easier ;) We weren't actively trying, but we weren't preventing either. Since coming off BCP pills last July, I had normal periods up until Jan.. when my periods stopped all together. I took several tests (urine and blood) - all negative. Waited the 60+ days then had thryoid and hormone testing done, and they had just prescribed provera to induce period when we found out! They basically did one final blood test before I was to start the provera (dropped it off at the pharmacy and everything) and positive! DH is over the moon excited, but I am definitely more overwhelmed. I hear that's pretty normal though :)

    I'm still Indifferent

    Even though this one was planned & wanted, and I was stressing about the age gap, and all that, for some reason I'm still so shocked I'm pg this time.

    Um yea, me.  But, because we've been trying for a year and a half!  We were starting to lose hope and think it would never happen for us again!

    Congratulations SweetieD, I can imagine the shock after trying so long and getting to the point where you figured it wouldn't happen.  Hopefully our shock will wear off soon :)
