For those who weaned off pumping...

I have been pumping since LO was born but am weaning now because my supply is very low and I've tried fenugreek, oatmeal, power pumping, nothing is working so I've decided to throw in the towel and move on.  My question is... I have slowly reduced pumping sessions over the last two weeks to where I'm now only doing it once a day/once every other day.  I'm still filling back up slightly so don't know if I need to keep pumping to drain the breasts, but then it seems they won't "dry up".  Anyone have experience with this who knows what to do?

    There is nothing to do besides stop pumping and wait it out.  You can also try the cabbage leaves on boobs and lots of benadryl... other than that, nothing.  It sucks.  Good Luck!

    It can vary quite a bit.. from like 1-3 weeks.  I am still nursing at night and first morning feeding... so not sure what will happen when I stop.  I'm hoping it goes quick though!

    We FF all day and I nurse each boob once per 24 hrs.. my supply has adjusted and its actually quite easy and I am still able to give some BM... works for us for the time being!

    I also recently stopped.  What I did was drop a pump session every other day.  So i was only nursing at night.  After a week I dropped the night time feeding.  I did feel engourged so i pumped just enough to release the pain about .5 ounce total felt better and have had no issues since.
