Gotta love my DH

So pre-BFN if I slept in (around 6:15 am, grr) DH would tell me to get my butt out of bed and start getting ready for work and clean the house and stuff.  This morning I was sooooo exhausted even after just waking up and I practically slept all day yesterday.  So I'm sitting there clutching the pillows at 7 and hubbie walks in.  He just looked at me and said, "You are so adorable pregnant lady!" Gotta love him!

Re: Gotta love my DH

  • I am glad you were able to get a little more rest but if my DH told me to get up and clean at 615am I would tell him to kiss where the sun don't shine.

This exactly. In fact, there are days that I really don't feel like cleaning up and know if I sleep in, DH will get bored and do it himself. Lol.

  • Haha, well pregnancy seems to be my "get outta jail free" card lately, I just meant before we found out that was the typical thing to say.  Everyone has a different kind of relationship though and different roles.  Ours are pretty darn traditional, his only house chores are to take out the trash and mow the lawn.  Some times I take out the trash, haha.  But he's a farmer and works 80 hours a week in the slow time so right now he's working about 110 so I don't mind the house stuff usually.  I'm glad he's sweet about me being so tired though.  Today he was so nice, he just said, "Please just wash some jeans for me.  That's all I really need."  Love him!
