Sad news... first u/s & doctor's appointment today
We had our first OB appointment and ultrasound today. The gestational sac was present, but totally TOTALLY empty :-(
Betas drawn and getting drawn a second time on Wednesday. It's pretty obvious that there is no baby. Sad day in my house...

First, thanks everyone for your thoughts, prayers, and hugs.
I really don't think its medically possible for us to be much less far along than 8 weeks. I'm ashamed to say, that we didn't even have sex one time during the 2ww, and then once we found out that we were expecting, we didn't have sex for a really long time (work trip, DH got the flu really bad, fear of "hurting" the baby, exhaustion... you get the picture). We honestly went almost 4 weeks with no intercourse. I think our gestational age was pretty right on. I think we just have a blighted ovum situation.

I'm so sorry. The same thing happened to me last time. I found the MC/PL board very comforting after my loss.
