I just ignored my mother's phone call. 

She doesn't know that I am pg yet (we will tell on our visit this weekend in person) and I know she will grill me about being sick, ask if I went to the doc, what meds I am taking, etc.  And since I am so nauseous, I am afraid it will slip out or I will act kinda b_tchy if she asks too many questions.

I feel like a bad daughter!

    I avoided my mom for a week and a half so that I wouldn't slip!  Telling her in person is worth it!

    Totally worth it to wait! (ps I always ignore my mom's calls when I'm in a nasty mood)

    You did the right thing.  I found out I was pg on a Wed was going to see my mom that Friday for my sister's college grad.  I was going to wait til that weekend but didn't want to take away from my sister.  Really I couldn't hold it in and called my mom.  It's so hard not to tell but in person will be so special.  Any ideas how you're going to tell her?

    We are driving in on Friday night and they usually wait up for us so they can see Molly, so our plan is to just change her into her Big Sister t-shirt before we go inside and let them piece it together. 

    We initially were going to wait til next weekend bc we have an u/s on the 3rd, but I know she'd be furious if she knew we knew the week before when we were there and didn't tell her!
