  My son has those too.  It is just swollen glands due to his allergies.  The doctor ran blood tests to duoble check for us.

  Abby had one and Dr said it was a lymph node and not to worry.

  Actually, I have one, not the boys. My doctor said (in my specific case) that it's just like a little pocket of cartilage. Looks like there could be several possibilities that are no big deal

  I felt a "bump" behind Jenna's ear a couple of weeks ago. Called DH and told him about it, and he sait it's probably just a bone...This past week, MIL came to watch her while we both worked, and she felt it- she tells DH and now he's freaking out over it... while it kinda pisses me off that when I brought it up it was nothing, but now that his mom says something,it's time to go to the doctor, i'm also freaking out the more I think about it...

   

  sooo-- lets all feel behind our babies ears... any bumps? it's towards the bottom behind the lobe... like if she had her ears pierced, it is right where the back of the earring would touch her head....

   

  Could be swollen lymph nodes?  Emmy had this and with low grade fevers for about a month (around 99.1-99.7), I had the pedi give us blood work orders for my peace of mind.  Turns out all her blood results came back normal and her temp is now normal in the 98 range.
