NBRQOTD: My birthday is January 19th - we have really no idea when my edd is (I haven't had a period without meds in almost a year and no ultrasound yet), but my beta blood tests make it look like I'll be due right around my 28th birthday!

Well, having a big belly for the holidays and being ok with being stuck inside during the winter months with my LO. Also, by the time summer comes we will be able to get outside and enjoy it.

Everyone in my family has a summer birthday so it'll be nice that our baby will have a little season to him or herself and having a lot of time to drop some weight/get back into shape before spring/summer

Since we won't be going out for a few weeks after our baby is born, I won't be missing out on the nice weather since it will be snowing and cold. Also, losing some of the pregnancy weight before summer.

qotd: because the H & I live far away from my family, we can go up for Christmas and have a LO birthday celebration at the same time, which will be nice, although....
nbrqotd: ...I always hated doing the birthday/christmas joint thing as a kid, since my birthday is November 25th.
QOTD: The cooler temperatures. When DS was born in November of 2008, it was hot and everything was on fire around here. It was awful.
NBRQOTD: March 3 - Random: My mom, uncle and grandpa were all born in January as were both of DH's parents. It will be interesting to see if this baby is born on any of their birthdays.

For my birthday we're just going to go out to a really nice dinner. DH wanted to take me on vacation, but I figure with the baby on the way it's best to keep it simple. Plus m/s would ruin a vacation at this point anyways. haha.
Sometimes a really nice dinner will be anything! We were considering planning a vacation, too! Had travel books and everything all ready to go. Now that I'm pregnant, we're just going to wait it out a few weeks and decide what the next step is regarding a vacation.
QOTD: I love that I will get Christmas holidays right before my due date, which means 2 weeks of time off of work to rest, get stuff ready for baby, and spend with dd. It's bittersweet that it will be our last christmas with just her. I also love that it will be winter so we won't be hot!
NBRQOTD: My bday is April 1. Yeah, April Fool's Day. A lifetime of bday pranks!

I'm kinda bummed in a way for a winter baby - we won't be able to get out of the house like we do in the summer =/ Winter is horrid here in Northern MI - gotta love lake effect =D
I'm just scared how my other LO's will react to being inside ALL day. They love going outside but with a NB, I won't be able to take them out.

QOTD: Not sure what I'm looking forward to most- of course the most important thing is a happy healthy baby, but as far as delivering in January? Maybe being around a bunch of family in Nov./Dec. for the holidays- it will be nice to have the support during those last final months.
NBRQOTD: June 2- next week! yay! Happy Early Bday to you! I hope you have a nice night out! It's been a big tradition in my life (like since I was 5 to go to Benihana's for my bday- we'll see if I can stomach it this year- I sure hope so!)
QOTD: What are you looking forward to most about delivering in January?
Cuddling with the baby, being really pregnant for Christmas, and hiding post-baby belly for a few months before it gets nice outside. Also, you can't put spf on a LO for the first 6 months so a winter birth is helpful in that regard.

QOTD: It will be nice to be cooler weather late in pregnancy, plus snuggling with LO with snow outside - But am also hoping no blizzard when LO decides to make an appearance!

QOTD: What are you looking forward to most about delivering in January? Cuddling and not feeling the need to go outside. If I had a newborn right now I'd want to be outside all the time. In the winter I'm much more relaxed about chilling inside for days at a time.

Being hugely pregnant over the holidays, having one more Christmas "just the three of us", and getting the best post-Christmas present ever!!!
Also, DD was born April 29th and we had a hot April - I was swollen and puffy and when she was a few weeks old and we were ready to head out with her, I felt gross and uncomfortable in tank tops and shorts - I can wear leggings and long sweaters all winter and hopefully lose some weight by summer!!

Mine is Feb 23rd. My 31st birthday (this year) sucked because I had my miscarraige the week before. I will spend my 32nd birthday snuggling on the coach with my newborn and my sweet girl!!!
QOTD: What are you looking forward to most about delivering in January? I lost my Dad on New Year's Eve 2005 and lost my mother on January 3, 2007. Needless to say, it is not a good time of the year for our family. Now, we can celebrate something good. My EDD is also January 3rd which gave me such joy that I feel my mother is apart of this.
