Working till due date

Why did I think this was a good thing, can someoen remind me please? I am scheduled for a c section next week, and am working until Friday this week, with a long weekend then it's baby time! As I sit here SUPER uncomfortable with my belly resting on my lap (I am wearing a dress so now my belly is sticking to my thighs since it's so hot out) I am asking myself why I didn't take this week off and start amt leave already

    I hear you..but at least you'll have that extra week at home with baby during your leave.  Can you work from home?

    I'll be doing the same thing in July. Baby due July 18th but sceduled cesarian will be probably the 12th. Plan to work until the 9th.

    I'm with you on this!  I originally wanted to work until my due date, then about a month ago asked if I could take the week before off and got declined!  (Even though I have three weeks of vacation to use up by the end of the year.)

     So, here I sit.  At work.  Oh - and I'm in Florida.  It is yucky hot here, too!

    Just keep reminding yourself that you will have an extra week at home with your lo in the end...but, I feel ya.  I am miserable too, and I want to be done!

    My c-section is the day after yours and I'm working until this Friday also. Hang in there. I know it's tough but we only have 3 more days.
