I was thinking to have a table set up for B's party for the kids to do sand art bottles. Good idea or bad? I have about 12 boys and like 10 girls that are old enough to participate.
it may be messy but I think it'll be fun for the kids.
tbabe, I found some great websites for the supplies if you decide to do it. My DD's bday is in 2 weeks so if yours is after, I can let you know how it works for us.
I had a couple activities planned for Rory's party, and decided at the last minute not to do them. I'm glad I did. There is no way those kids were sitting still long enough to do a project. They just wanted to play. I did give them some of those huge balloons with the rubber band on them (that you punch) as part of their favors, and they loved those. They all had fun.

this is my only concern. we are going to have a bounce house and some outdoor toys laid out in the yard so I'm wondering if they'll even stop to do it. I don't want it to be a joint must do, I just want to have it there if anyone does want to do it. I don't know...
XB i will definately like to check out the websites you've found. ive mostly been looking at oriental trading. Gianna's birthday is June 17th. she wants a sprinkler, a slip-and-slide and a parachute?! and, because we're having a scooby doo party, she wants DH to dress up like a monster: a three-headed six-legged fire breathing turtle.
Re: sand art for bday party - yay or nay?

lol that sounds like so much fun!
DH is also thinking of renting some kind of suit to suprise Brooke. Although I think its for him, he's always wanted to wear one of those.
Here's the website I found for the sand art, the prices are pretty good and I think you get more for your $ than OT
