Things I don't want to worry about

This morning in our area, I heard that several schools were on lockdown  because of a gunman loose in the area. 

Then I read this.  I know it's going to be awhile before he's in school, let alone college, but gosh this stuff is scary!

    Someone was just telling me about this (the vodka thing) last week!  Gross, right???  How stupid are these kids?!

    Oh wow.  I hear you.  It seems like everyday on the news here they've arrested a principal or teacher for molesting children. 

    I swear, I am going to homeschool my kids and never let them out of my sight. It's a wonder with my being born and raised in SF (and I was a "latch key" kid...so no supervision from about 3-5:30 p.m. during the work week) that I didn't get into any horrible predicament.  Dumb luck, I guess.
