Questions of theWeek:

When you have your LO do you predict you will cut your hair to keep it short and easy to dry? (I ask because all my friends when they became first time moms cut their hair)

What is your occupation, and if you could do anything at all what would it be?

If you would like tojoin, please post your user id and EDD!

Re: ~*~Tiny Turkeys Check In~*~

  • I already have short hair. I will be keeping it short I think

I work at a jail. If I could do anything it would be a stay at home mom. If not that then I am not positive. Probably some sort of Federal investigation (DEA, FBI, CIA)

  • My hair is medium length, and I will probably cut it some, but not too short.

I am an accountant, but I would probably be a stay at home mom/photographer.

  • I'm already ready to cut my hair since it's hard to maintain at this length, so I will likely do it before the baby comes and then maybe keep it on the shorter side... I don't think I would ever go short, but just shorter/shoulder-length hair.

I work in finance, but would love to start my own at-home business. Just don't know what that would be.... Smile

  • You can add me!!

    Grr_Aargh, due 11/28/10

I have very long hair.  I'll likely keep it long.  It's easier for me to take care of long. .  .

I am an English Adjunct for a local community college where I teach creative writing and English Composition.  If I could do anything it would be . . . well, what I do.  I have a lot of fun at home with the kiddos.

  • My hair is already pretty short. I don't think it can get much shorter.

I am currently unemployed and I am really starting to like it.  At this point in my life I don't want to do anything but be a SAHM.

  • I will probably trim my hair but I definitely won't cut it short.  My hair is naturally curly and would not be cute short.

I work in quality assurance.  If I could do anything at all, I would love to do reproductive physiology for endangered species, specifically the big cats.

My hair is about to my collar bone.  I have had it short before, like around my ears, and it was sometimes more work than having it long.  I have some natural curl to my hair (some, but not enough to make it look good if I don't blow dry it) so I have to straighten if I want it to look decent.  I figure I'll leave it around the length that it is, because it can be easily pulled up when I get out of the shower.

I am a first grade teacher.  If I could do anything... I'd go back to school for photography and become a photographer.  OR be a stay at home Mom.  We can't afford for me to not work... but I do love my job!

  • I probably wont cut it too short. I usually only cut it above shoulder in spring (like I should be doing right now). Since baby is coming in winter, i will be letting it go longer.  But i do wear it up in a pony tail when not at work.

Ideally I would love to own a business with DH; either a catering business or doggie daycare/hotel.

  • QOTW #1: Nope, I didn't cut it w/ DD and won't be cutting it w/ this LO. I need to have it long so I could put it up in a pony tail! Besides, I don't have a face for short hair!

QOTW #2: I am the manager of the fund administration dept for a fund of funds (I know that makes NO sense to anyone not in the hedge fund biz). I would do anything that would allow me to continue working from home. I LOVE the flexibility that working at home gives me.

  • Because my DH has for the last couple of years been talking about how he likes long hair I've been growing mine. Its just getting to past my shoulders and I'm sure I'll keep growing it a while.

I'm a paralegal. Its fine - its a job.  I have my Masters in Social Work and the timing just hasn't been right with DH's job and the economy to pursue that.  My dream job would be between SAHM and working as a hospice social worker.  Likely part-time SW, some SAHM would be ideal.  Some day.

  • Can you add me too? k1eine_maus - edd Nov 19th

QOTW - I don't know - I think long hair is easier fo me to manage than short. but we'll see. And for question 2 I am a financial consultant. I like what I do, but I wish i could do it part time to spend more time at home.

  • Mmm, I have chin/shoulder length hair now.  I really like being able to pull it up into a pony-tail, so I doubt I'll be chopping much off.

I work in an insurance agency's office as a benefits service agent.  If I could do anything at all, I'd like to be a SAHM!!!

  • I've had short hair for five years now, don't plan on changing it.

I'm the assistant manager at MAC Cosmetics and I also own my own business doing makeup freelance as well. I'm already doing what I love, but if I could amp it up I'd make it in the hollywood scene doing makeup.

I think I have an easier time leaving it long.  Even when it's short, it's so thick it takes forever to dry, so I just leave it wet lol

I am mostly a SAHM and I work part-time when dd is at school doing video and photography work for a non-profit.  When the LO is born, I plan on just staying home :)

Can I be added? Screenname- LLRT and Due Nov. 9th.

When you have your LO do you predict you will cut your hair to keep it short and easy to dry? Mine actually is already short so I think it's going to stay this way!

What is your occupation, and if you could do anything at all what would it be? I used to be an Industrial Engineer but now I schedule production for a few of our company's equities.

  • hi, please add my to the tt's!  i'm jzc0106 and my edd is 11/3.

qotd: my hair is short now, so i'll just keep it this way.  i could use a haircut!

nbr: i'm in marketing for an outlet developer, but if i could do anything, i would be a romance writer.

I don't think I'll cut my hair. It is much easier to just throw it in a pony tail. No hair drying required!! Though, we'll see.

QOTW: I have really long hair and do not plan on going short, I may take an inch or 2 off but that's about it.  Short hair for me is more high maintenance.

I am a Practice Administrator but if anything I would love to work for a dog rescue or society.

  • #1: NO!!  I look terrible with short hair and it only takes me about 5 minutes to blow dry it anyway.

#2:  Attorney.  In my wildest fantasies I'd work behind the scenes in politics or as an actual politician but not too high up where they start trashing my personal life.

I like my hair short but DH likes it long.  I am going to keep it long for now- until I cant stand it- then I will hack it.

What is your occupation, and if you could do anything at all what would it be?

I am a teacher. I want to be a whale trainer at Sea World.

  • When you have your LO do you predict you will cut your hair to keep it short and easy to dry? (I ask because all my friends when they became first time moms cut their hair) -  Nope!  I'm growing my hair out to the length it was pre-baby.  I cut it when DS arrived, and I totally regret the decision.  It's easier at first, but I miss my long hair.

What is your occupation, and if you could do anything at all what would it be?  I'm a teacher, but I stay at home with DS for now.  I'll be home for a few years.
