Travel question? (sorry to be a PW)

Have you asked about travel? My midwife said she wants me within 3 hours of Seattle at 35 weeks. That seems so late to me. I ask because we want to try and make it to Texas for Thanksgiving and I'll be 33 weeks. 

It's not a long flight, but I'm curious as to what your doctors/friends/caretakers have said on the matter.

    I flew at 29 weeks to Cabo for Vacation. Dr. ok'd it. She said after 33 weeks I was not allowed to travel even drive long distances with DS #1

    I think my doc cut me off at 33 or 34 weeks with dd.  I was thinking about this the other day; that we may not be able to travel for any holidays this year.  Kinda sad bc all of our family is out of state.

    My sister was told not to travel after 35 weeks. (Although she had her son at 34 weeks.)

    Alright, good to know. I'll ask again on Thursday when I see her. Tickets are  cheap, and we want to book!

    Be sure to check with the airline about travel in the 3rd tri.  Some require doctor's notes to let you on the plane.  I don't think there is any danger to you or baby because of travel, but they don't want to chance you going into labor mid-flight.
    I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...
